In Delhi lived RAJA (Sheikh Mukhtar). He was a ‘giant’ as impressive as a Kutub Minar, but was as steadfast in his aims as the Red Fort. Raja had a pal in MARCHI (Mukri)-who was always with him in his good deeds. Raja loved only one person and that was his mother (Leela Misra)-and if he had high hopes for anybody it was for his brother SHYAM (Shekhar) who was attending a college.

A Carnival visited the city. The proprietor of the Carnival RESHAMLAL (Ramsingh) had one day to apologize to Raja and close his gambling den. Something went wrong with the Merry-go-round in the circle and the lives of the riders therein were in jeopardy. To avoid this catastrophe, Raja jumped into the whirling wheel caring least for his life and stopped the wheel and saved human lives. Amongst these saved was SHEELA (Sahira) the daughter of RAI SAHEB (Kumar). Sheela was learning in the same collage as Shyam. Shyam had fallen in love with her but Sheela never responded to his sentiments.

Rai Shaheb invited Raja to his place for dinner in celebration of the birthday of his son. Little did Raja know that this celebration was his! Rai Saheb was his father and Sheela his sister. Raja took Shyam, in disguise as uncle Rangilelal Surile with him for dinner. The clever brains of uncle SURILE (Jamal) helped Raja to further his plans. Sheela and Shyam came closer and soon they were engaged.

As the day of marriage came near Reshamlal sent his accomplice KISHORI  (Jeevankala) to Raja’s place, posing as Shyam’s wife. Raja drove Shyam out of the house.

Kishori came to know that Reshamlal had plans to marry Sheela and throwing her out. She planned to take revenge on Reshamlal for deceiving her. Shyam also decided to save Rai Saheb and Sheela from the clutches of villains. The result of all this was that Kishori was murdered and Shyam was accused as being the murderer.

How Shyam was cleared of this guilt- well the silver screen shall show.
